The game receives consistent updates adding new weapons and Warframes, and the newest update just added 3 new Kuva weapons to farm, all super strong as far as I know.

Where as a new player might have to focus on one particular weapon (like a bow) and one particular configuration of that weapon (like crit) in order to feel powerful.Early game is simply trying various things to find what you like.
