In the center of this frozen expanse lies Wyrmrest Temple, a structure believed to be built by the world-shapin… New Player servers have always been dead. it is a sad but funny irony that even with people doing this, i am unaware of any real delays in the game caused by this? Clockwork Orange alone has lost 10 players to server transfers, and 8 people to boredom/leaving the game from our raid roster in the last 7 months. They are both established servers with a long history. However, over the years, the Horde population has diminished, especially since the introduction of Faction Change in WotLK. They only ever talk about their raiding elite and experienced players. If you have any grievances with me personally, Also, Ghostlands/Dragonblight is not unique. They have made Warcraft into an endgame elitest platform. And seriously, unless there is some change to AH prices, looms, scaling and failure to give reasonable reward to ordinary players that work their way up through this game without looms, I can’t see me coming back. That’s fixing 17 out of 71 dead servers (if we only look at EU english for easier numbers).Medium servers are dead. But I created a new level 1 “Book” to preserve the name on Dragonblight. Also, 14% (at least) of GM’s being inactive does not help things either. When I took the raw numbers from the games guild finder in January 2019, there were 31,242 characters in guilds on our servers.

And that’s what I’m expecting to be a bandaid on a gushing wound at best. Getting it more evened out.Because plenty of times they put me with Alliance and even more: put me together with a majority of players from an Italian server… Like, what is that about?I fully support your plea, coming from a medium server it already feels unbalanced (AH, faction grouping,…) a lot of times. At least from a business perspective. Low pop servers would need to get merged with much largers servers for them to fix anything.I consider myself a realistic person, i dont expect them to connect realms in a way that after its done, only high pop realms remain. But i can be wrong and they surprise me by doing bigger connections.I consider myself a realistic person, i dont expect them to connect realms in a way that after its done, only high pop realms remain. That’s precisely what I’m expecitng as well. Every time that I saw people complaining about scripting or bugs, I reccommeneded that others give it a shot. And of course, big thanks to Vintoleth for putting together this megathread and keeping the message live. Everyone is being driven around in motorbikes. Transferred out in Cata.Having empty servers is so easy to solve it boggles the mind it ain’t done. You are probably bleeding players way in excess of the money you make from transfers anywayAt this point they should just connect all realms(maybe except RP) and call it a day.I not only disagree.

Imagine what it was like in WotLK?Getting accurate figures is hard, but YOU Blizzard have access to any metrics needed so you will know the TRUE state of the servers. It’ll look like they attempted to fix the issue, but in reality it changes little to nothing.Of course having only high pop realms remaining isn’t for everyone, but having at least roughly 10 guilds clearing mythic each content on each connected realm isn’t too much to ask for, or is it? Don't really want to have a Dragonblight'ish outcome again.

Haven't played it since retail. but this just creates a new problem if all people will move to 2-3 of the “known” populated servers like Draenor or Silvermoon. New Player servers have always been dead.Unless we get more information about the entire thing, and most importantly a statement about servers that aren’t “low population” in the server browser, I’ll stick to my previous statement of it not being in Blizzards interest to fix the issue. Also there’d be the entire thing of simply mashing together all the low pop servers and calling it a fix, when in reality it would change little to nothing.

I've argued with folks both on reddit and elsewhere that Dragonblight was the "real deal."

I sincerely hope my home realm of Earthen Ring/Darkmoon Faire will be among the realms that gets merged.I guess the longer they ignore it for the more people will pay to fix their situation - which isn’t fair… not to mention players that have all their alts on the dead realm too. This is actually it. As far as we know, not a single connection has been made, but either way, Ghostlands/Dragonblight is still in a dire state.Blizzard, we understand there may be certain things that mean this isn’t a flick of the switch issue, such as what Ion mentioned before that quote about the massive changes to servers with the release of Legion, but please review the situation, We have made a site to shine a direct light on the problem on our server. Played here back in the day and came back and the AH is nothing but 10000-99000 for crap. EVEN IF ITS JUST “I AGREE”. For millennia the Great Dragonblight has served as the enduring heart of Northrend. My guild is talking about a server transfer away from a dead realm (which shows as medium on the serverbrowser) to one of the three largest ones in our region. At the beginning of BFA, Aversion was still on our realm.

As a long-time member of Ghostlands and then the connected Ghostlands-Dragonblight, it has been sad to watch this realm decline. Its like everyone else just doesn’t matter.Anyway I’m playing something else and I have to say I do feel special again for the first time in ages. It is clear that numbers able to field raiding teams are dropping to an all time low when compared to earlier expansions. ie. Low servers are dead. Just going off the economy it looks horrible, which is why I am asking from those that play frequently. Game gone bonkers if you ask me.And now we have scaling that slows new players down to a standstill and yet allows loomers to progress unhindered.
